Building a Stunning Spreadsheet Interface for Postgres

Databases and spreadsheets are like brothers, one is serious and high-performing, offering excellent performance and providing powerful data support for applications, but requiring developers to drive through code. Compared to Airtable's highest limit of 100,000 rows, Teable's upper limit is based on a real physical relational database. This means that every table that seems simple on Teable is actually a real database table. Therefore, the query and storage performance are theoretically close to the capabilities of the database itself, so we can say that Teable has no upper limit on the number of data rows. Further, we tested a table filled with one million rows of data (Test Table), and without indexing optimization, complex filtering or statistical queries can be completed in about 200 milliseconds. But the most noteworthy is that Teable also supports indexing optimization. This means that you can further improve query performance, allowing Teable to support millions of rows or even more data.

The ultra-high performance also means that Teable can provide a higher API request frequency, and more importantly, it inherits the core capabilities of mainstream database management systems, allowing developers to use Teable as a reliable application database to build truly powerful and robust applications, and significantly reduce the operational costs of applications.
